Other than the continuing gale force winds, it was a nice ride today, as for once I vaguely knew where I was going!Still fairly new to this area of the country I'm pleased to be able to be 'killing two birds with one stone' - that is exploring North Yorkshire at the same time as training for Paris!
Talking of birds... along the quiet country roads today I seemed to have only pheasants for company. Not that they were always very welcoming - one feeling the urge to jump out in front of me, nearly knocking me off my bike! Luckily my balance on a road bike is improving!
