ECF becomes first sponsor!

I'm delighted to have my first 'corporate sponsor', the English Chess Federation (formerly known as the British Chess Federation) - an organisation with whom my Dad was greatly involved.

Having over the years held the positions of Director of Junior Chess, Grading Officer, and Principal Arbiter of the British Championships, Richard was recognised for his services to chess in January 2004 when he was awarded the BCF President's Award. Posthumously, he was elected Honorary Life Vice President of the BCF.
