6 months on from signing up for the event, I'm really excited and raring to go!
Although over the last couple of months 'gym-based' training seems to have taken over from my actual road riding, I feel as ready as I'll ever be and itching to get started.
Having only recently visited Canterbury and its surrounding areas I'm quite pleased to hear that the first day's route heads out towards the coast in that direction. Somehow, having now got a little familiarity with the area it feels less of a ride into the unknown so to speak. Having said that, sometimes it can be best not to know exactly what lies ahead of you!
